Our story
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Sound Solutions Therapy Services, originally founded as Sound Solutions Speech Pathology, began its journey in 2012 in Hervey Bay, Queensland. We recognised the pressing need for accessible therapy services across the community. This vision drove the establishment of a practice that welcomed clients of all ages, abilities, and funding levels.
As demand for our services grew, we expanded our team to include additional speech therapists and administrative staff, and extended our reach to Maryborough. Seeing the diverse needs of our clients, we introduced Occupational Therapy in 2014, a significant milestone that led to our rebranding as Sound Solutions Therapy Services.
In February 2017, a major development occurred when another speech therapy company was acquired in Nambour, allowing us to provide consistent speech and occupational therapy services daily in Nambour and Currimundi.

WHERE WE'RE AT NOW
Today, Sound Solutions has proudly joined the DCC Industry Group, which is on the path to becoming a leading group in social human services. We have grown into a robust organisation with five offices across the region and a team of over 30 dedicated professionals, including speech and occupational therapists, therapy assistants, and support workers. Our commitment to providing effective, inclusive therapy solutions continues to drive our growth and success, enhancing our collective mission within the DCC Industry Group.
